Arriving on the island

Almost all visitors arrive by air. A smaller number arrive by cruise ship that docks in Yellow Leaf Bay for one night per week.

Public buses serve Taniti City from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. every day.

Private buses serve the rest of the island.

Taxis are available in Taniti City.

Rental cars are available from a local agency near the airport.

Bikes and helmets can be rented from several vendors. Helmets are required by law.

Taniti City is fairly flat and walkable. Merriton Landing is also easy to explore on foot.
